DFPI: All Star Cleaning LLC Files Request for Investigation into Business Dispute

On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, our company, All Star Cleaning LLC, officially filed a formal request for investigation into a business dispute with the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI). This step follows our efforts to resolve a situation concerning 51 unpaid invoices totaling over $125,000. 

Our submission details a disturbing pattern of conduct by Vacasa LLC, which we allege includes the systematic withholding of payments, bad-faith negotiations, and internal contradictions in management's communications. Part of the submission is a timeline that points to a disturbing coincidence between the initiation of our service terminations and the day of the company owner's acute hospitalization for a sudden medical emergency. We are asking the DFPI to investigate, within its authority, whether these practices constitute an abuse of a dominant market position and are in conflict with the laws that protect businesses in California.
